“El agresor disparó y mató de manera horrible”, dijo Abbot durante la conferencia de prensa.
Al mismo tiempo, señaló que el sujeto portaba presuntamente una pistola y un rifle, que utilizó para perpetrar esta nueva masacre registrada en los Estados Unidos.
“Los texanos están de duelo por las víctimas de este crimen sin sentido”, agregó Abbott, quien dio instrucciones para “que se investigue a fondo lo ocurrido”.
Por su parte, la portavoz de la Casa Blanca, Jean-Pierre, indicó que el presidente Joe Biden fue informado sobre el tiroteo en medio de su viaje de regreso tras su gira en Asia.
“Sus oraciones están con las familias afectadas por este terrible evento, y hablará esta noche cuando regrese a la Casa Blanca”, dijo Jean-Pierre.
